Ingredients You Need:
- 2 large ripe mangoes (for puree)
- 1/2 cup chopped mango pieces (optional, for texture)
- 1 cup full-fat milk
- 10-12 soft dates (pitted)
- 2 tbsp honey (or to taste)
Method:
1.Prepare the Date Paste:
- Soak dates in warm milk for 10-15 minutes.
- Blend the dates and milk into a smooth paste. This will be our natural sweetener.
2.Make Mango Puree:
- Peel and dice the mangoes.
- Blend them into a smooth puree.
3. Prepare the Mix:
- In a bowl, mix the mango puree, date paste, and honey. Adjust sweetness as per taste.
4. Set :
- In a small glass dish, pour a layer of the mango mixture.
- Add a layer of chopped mango pieces.
- Repeat the layers until you fill the mold.
- Tap the mold gently to remove air bubbles.
5. Chill:
- Cover with cling film or a lid.
- Freeze for 6-8 hours (or overnight) until firm.
