Healthy Aam Panna Bites

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium raw mangoes (peeled and chopped)
  • 2–3 tbsp jaggery powder (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp black salt
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp mint leaves (finely chopped or crushed)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (for greasing)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds or sabja seeds (optional, for texture and fiber)

How to Prepare:

  1. Boil the Mangoes:
Pressure cook or boil raw mango pieces until soft. Let them cool.
  2. Make Pulp:
Blend the boiled mango into a smooth pulp. No need to add water.
  3. Cook the Mixture:
In a non-stick or heavy-bottomed pan, add mango pulp, jaggery, and spices.
Cook on low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens like a dough (about 10–15 mins). Add mint and optional chia seeds midway.
  4. Set It:
Grease a plate or tray with ghee or oil. Spread the mixture evenly. Let it cool and firm up (you can refrigerate for faster setting).
  5. Cut into Bites:
Once set, cut into squares or roll into bite-sized balls. Dust with roasted cumin and black salt mix.

Health Benefits:

  • Rich in Vitamin C and electrolytes
  • Aids digestion

Great for summer hydration and energy
