These Healthy Aam Panna Bites are a refreshing twist on the classic summer drink, packed into convenient, bite-sized treats. Bursting with tangy raw mango flavor and natural cooling properties, they’re perfect for beating the heat the healthy way.
Healthy Aam Panna Bites
Ingredients:
- 2 medium raw mangoes (peeled and chopped)
- 2–3 tbsp jaggery powder (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
- ¼ tsp black salt
- ¼ tsp cardamom powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp mint leaves (finely chopped or crushed)
- 1 tsp coconut oil (for greasing)
- 2 tbsp chia seeds or sabja seeds (optional, for texture and fiber)
How to Prepare:
- Boil the Mangoes:
Pressure cook or boil raw mango pieces until soft. Let them cool. - Make Pulp:
Blend the boiled mango into a smooth pulp. No need to add water. - Cook the Mixture:
In a non-stick or heavy-bottomed pan, add mango pulp, jaggery, and spices.
Cook on low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens like a dough (about 10–15 mins). Add mint and optional chia seeds midway. - Set It:
Grease a plate or tray with ghee or oil. Spread the mixture evenly. Let it cool and firm up (you can refrigerate for faster setting). - Cut into Bites:
Once set, cut into squares or roll into bite-sized balls. Dust with roasted cumin and black salt mix.
