Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup cold-pressed coconut oil
- 2 tbsp jaggery powder or honey (natural sweetener and mild prebiotic)
- 1 tbsp flax seeds (fiber-rich, good for digestion)
- 1/2 tsp dry ginger powder (soothes gut and reduces inflammation)
- A pinch of haldi (turmeric) (anti-inflammatory)
- A pinch of rock salt (sendha namak) or Himalayan pink salt
- Optional:crushed fennel seeds (saunf) for flavor and digestion
Preparation Method:
- Melt coconut oil on low heat.
- Turn off the heat and stir in jaggery powder or honey until dissolved.
- Mix in cocoa powder, flax seeds, ginger, turmeric, salt, and fennel seeds.
- Pour into a greased plate or silicone mould.
- Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
- Store in the fridge. Eat 1–2 small pieces daily.
