Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup cold-pressed coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp jaggery powder or honey (natural sweetener and mild prebiotic)
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds (fiber-rich, good for digestion)
  • 1/2 tsp dry ginger powder (soothes gut and reduces inflammation)
  • A pinch of haldi (turmeric) (anti-inflammatory)
  • A pinch of rock salt (sendha namak) or Himalayan pink salt
  • Optional:crushed fennel seeds (saunf) for flavor and digestion

Preparation Method:

  1. Melt coconut oil on low heat.
  2. Turn off the heat and stir in jaggery powder or honey until dissolved.
  3. Mix in cocoa powder, flax seeds, ginger, turmeric, salt, and fennel seeds.
  4. Pour into a greased plate or silicone mould.
  5. Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  6. Store in the fridge. Eat 1–2 small pieces daily.
